ペンタサクメ・カウダツム [Index] [Back] 中国南部からインドシナ半島、それにビルマやバングラデシュ、インドに分布しています。山地の疎林や茂み、川沿いなどに生え、高さは３０〜８０センチになります。葉は線状披針形で対生し、短い葉柄があります。４月から１０月ごろ、葉腋に４〜８個の白色の花を咲かせます。漢方では、全草が肝炎や腎炎、結膜炎、のどの痛みなどの治療に使われます。漢名では、「石夢摩（shi luo mo）」です。 ガガイモ科ペンタサクメ属の多年草で。学名は Pentasachme caudatum。英名はありません。 The Pentasachme caudatum belongs to Asclepiadaceae (the Milkweed family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed to southern China, the Indochina Peninsula, Burma, Bangladesh and India. This herb grows in mountain thin forests, thickets, along stream and can reach 30-80 cm in height. The leaves are linear-lanceolate and arranged in opposite with short petioles. The 4-8 white flowers bloom at the axils from April to October. All parts are used for herb treatment of hepatitis, nephritis, conjunctivitis and sore throat.
