The String of beads 'PeachNecklace' belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is an evergreen herb that is a horticultural variety of the "String of beads" that is found in southern Namibia and South Africa. It is a mat-forming, perennial succulent plant, with creeping stems that grow along the ground. If you grow it in a pot, the branches will droop. The leaves are teardrop-shaped or long spherical, and have a short beak at the end opposite the part attached to the stem. Its history as a horticultural variety is unknown.
