ピーチネックレス [Index] [Back] 南アフリカとナミビア南部に分布する「みどりのすず（緑の鈴）」の園芸品種です。マット状の多年生多肉植物で、匍匐茎は地面に沿って突っ伏すように生育します。鉢などで成長させると枝が下垂していきます。葉は涙滴型（ティアドロップ型）または長球形で、茎に付着する部分の反対側の端には短いムクロジ（くちばし）があります。また園芸品種としての来歴は不詳です。  キク科キオン属の常緑多年草で、学名は Senecio rowleyanus cv. PeachNecklace。英名は String of beads 'PeachNecklace'。  The String of beads 'PeachNecklace' belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is an evergreen herb that is a horticultural variety of the "String of beads" that is found in southern Namibia and South Africa. It is a mat-forming, perennial succulent plant, with creeping stems that grow along the ground. If you grow it in a pot, the branches will droop. The leaves are teardrop-shaped or long spherical, and have a short beak at the end opposite the part attached to the stem.
