南アメリカ北部のコロンビアとエクアドルに分布しています。標高１２００〜１５００メートルの山地に生える着生ランです。葉は倒披針形で、数個が扇状に叢生します。春から秋にかけて、花茎を直立して伸ばし、直径６〜８センチの花をひとつだけ咲かせます。萼片と花弁は白色で、紫褐色の筋が入ります。唇弁は紫褐色です。

ラン科ペスカトレア属の常緑多年草で、学名は Pescatrea lehmannii。英名はありません。

The Pescatrea lehmannii belongs to Orchidaceae (The Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to northern South America; Colombia and Ecuador. This herb grows in the mountains at 1200-1500 m elevation. The leaves are oblanceolate and crowding fanwise. The flower is borne signly on an erect spike and 6-8 cm across from spring to fall. The sepals and petals are white with purplish brown stripes, the lip is purplish brown.
