ピックルきゅうり (ピックル胡瓜) [Index] [Back] １６世紀にヨーロッパで作出された「きゅうり」の系統です。果実は短い楕円形で、低い黒いぼがあります。広くピクルス（酢漬け）に利用されています。わが国では、「酒田」や「庄内早生」、「最上」などの品種が栽培されています。 ウリ科キュウリ属の一年草で、学名は Cucumis sativus。英名は Pickling cucumber。 The Pickling cucumber (Cucumis sativus) belongs to Cucurbitaceae (the Gourd family). It is a breed that was raised by Europeans in 16th century. The fruit is short elliptic with low black warts.
