南アフリカが原産です。蔓性で、高さは４．５〜６メートルほどになります。葉は奇数羽状複葉で、小葉の縁には鋸歯があります。６月から９月ごろ、赤紫色の筋がある淡いピンク色の花を咲かせます。名前は、流通名です。

ノウゼンカズラ科パンドレア属の常緑低木で、学名は Podranea ricasoliana。英名は Pink trumpet vine、Port St. John' creeper。

The Pink trumpet vine (Podranea ricasoliana) belongs to Bignoniaceae (the Trumpet creeper family). It is a small evergreen tree that is native to South Africa. It is a vine that grows to 4.5 to 6 m tall. It has odd pinnate compound leaves with serrated edges on the leaflets, and produces pale pink flowers with reddish purple streaks from June to September. The common name is a tradename.
