ピンギキュラ・スマイリングビューティー [Index] [Back] メキシコ中部のソノラ州原産のピンギキュラ・モクテズマエと、メキシコ南西部のコリマ州やミチョアカン州、ゲレロ州原産のピンギキュラ・コリメンシスとの交配種です。これはボブ・ビール氏の作出した「ピンクムーン（cv. Pink Moon）」と同じ交雑式です。一方、アメリカ・コロラド州にあるブランブル・ボタニカルズでも同じ交雑式で「交配#22037」として販売しているものがあります。詳細は不明ですが、品種登録されていないで、わが国の輸入業者が命名した名前のようです。葉は細長く、明るい黄緑色です。花は大きくてピンク色、白色と淡い黄色の距が対照的です。  タヌキモ科ムシトリスミレ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Pinguicula cv. Smiling Beauty (syn. Pinguicula moctezumae x colimensis)。英名はありません。  The Pinguicula 'Smiling Beauty' (Pinguicula moctezumae x colimensis) belongs to Lentibulariaceae (the Bladderwort family). It is a perennial herb that is a hybrid between the Pinguicula moctezumae, which is native to the state of Sonora in central Mexico, and the Pinguicula colimensis, which is native to the states of Colima, Michoacan and Guerrero in southwestern Mexico. This is the same hybridization method as that used by Bob Beer to create the 'Pink Moon'. Meanwhile, Brambles Botanicals in Colorado, in the United States, also sells a plant with the same hybridization formula as 'cross #22037'. The details are unknown, but it seems that it is a name given by an importer in Japan, as it has not been registered as a cultivar. The leaves are long and narrow, and bright yellow-green in color.
