ヒマラヤ周辺のブータン、シッキムそれに中国のチベットや雲南省に分布しています。標高２７００〜５０００メートルの草原に生え、高さは１０〜４５センチになります。葉は長楕円形で鋸歯があり、細かい毛が生えています。夏に花茎を伸ばして、円錐形の花序に、黄色い目のある青紫色の花を咲かせます。 |

サクラソウ科サクラソウ属の多年草で、学名は Primula capitata。英名はありません。 |

The Primula capitata belongs to Primulaceae (the Primrose family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed around the Himalaya, Bhutan, Sikkim, Tibet and Yunnan of China. This herb grows in alpine grasslands at altitudes between 2700 and 5000 m, and can reach 10-45 cm n height. The leaves are oblong, serrated and covered with fine hairs. The flowering stalks are borne in summer. The flowers are blue-purple with a yellow center, and bloom in conical clusters. |
