ブラジルが原産です。高さは４０〜５０センチほどになります。明るい緑色の葉は線状長楕円形または線状披針形で、縁は波打ちます。裏面は紫色をしています。短い花茎を伸ばして、小さな黄色い花を咲かせます。 |

クズウコン科カラテア属の常緑多年草で、学名は Calathea rufibarba。英名は Furry feather calathea。 |

|
The Furry feather calathea belongs to the family Marantaceae. It is an evergreen herb that is native to Brazil. It grows to a height of 40 to 50 cm. The bright green leaves are linear-oblong or linear-lanceolate with wavy edges. The underside is purple. Short flower stalks grow up to produce small yellow flowers. |
