カメリア・クックフォンゲンシス

ベトナム北部のニンビン省、ハノイの南西１００キロにあるクックフォン（Cuc Phuong）国立公園で、１９９４年に発見されました。亜熱帯性のツバキで、「きんかちゃ（金花茶）」と同じ系統ですが、果実内の種子数が多いので区別されます。 |

ツバキ科ツバキ属の常緑低木で、学名は Camellia cucphuongensis。英名はありません。 |

The Camellia cucphuongensis belongs to Theaceae (the Tea family). It is a small evergreen tree that is discovered in Cuc Phuong National Park, 100 km south-west of Hanoi, Ninh Binh Province, northern Vietnam in 1994. It is a subtropical camellia. It is from the same family as the "Yellow camellia", but is distinguished by the high number of seeds in the fruit. |
