カメリア・フラウァ [Index] [Back] ベトナムの北部が原産です。１９１０年にピタールによって初めて発表され、１９９４年になって再発見されました。高さは２〜５メートルになります。葉は革質で、長楕円状楕円形から長楕円形で、縁に細鋸歯があります。やや淡い黄色の花が仲春から晩春に咲きます。花弁は肉厚で、うつむいて咲きます。  ツバキ科ツバキ属の常緑低木で、学名は Camellia flava (syn. Thea flava)。英名はありません。  The Camellia flava belongs to Theaceae (the Tea family). It is a small evergreen tree that is native to northern Vietnam. It was first described by Pitard in 1910, and rediscovered in 1994. This tree grows up to a height of 2-5 m. The leaves are leathery, oblong-elliptic to oblong, with serrulate edges.
