西アジアのコーカサス地方に分布しています。標高１５００〜２７００メートルの草地や林内に生え、高さは２０〜５０センチになります。葉は楕円形から倒卵形でロゼット状につきます。縁には鈍鋸歯があります。夏に花茎を伸ばして総状花序をつけ、青紫色の筒状花を咲かせます。

キキョウ科ホタルブクロ属の多年草で、学名は Campanula olympica (syn. Campanula hemschinica)。英名はありません。

The Campanula olympica belongs to Campanulaceae (the Bellflower family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in the Caucasus region of Western Asia. It grows in meadows and forests at elevations of 1500-2700 m and is 20 to 50 cm tall. The leaves are elliptic to obovate and arranged in rosettes. The edges have blunt serrations. In summer, the flower stalks grow to form a raceme with blue-purple tubular flowers.
