The Scheuchzer's bellflower (Campanula scheuchzeri) belongs to Campanulaceae (Bellflower family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in the Alps of Europe. It grows in sunny alpine meadows and is 15-30 cm tall. The basal leaves are ovate, and the cauline leaves are small, oblong to lanceolate. It produces broad, bell-shaped, blue flowers in July and August. The specific epithet is dedicated to the Swiss botanist brothers Scheuchzer.
