ヨーロッパのアルプスに分布しています。高山の日当たりのよい草地に生え、高さは１５〜３０センチになります。基部の葉は卵形で、茎葉は小さな長楕円形から披針形をしています。７月から８月ごろ、広い釣鐘状の青色の花を咲かせます。種小名は、スイスの植物学者のショイヒツァー（Scheuchzer）兄弟に捧げられたもの。 |

The Scheuchzer's bellflower (Campanula scheuchzeri) belongs to Campanulaceae (Bellflower family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in the Alps of Europe. It grows in sunny alpine meadows and is 15-30 cm tall. The basal leaves are ovate, and the cauline leaves are small, oblong to lanceolate. It produces broad, bell-shaped, blue flowers in July and August. The specific epithet is dedicated to the Swiss botanist brothers Scheuchzer. |
