ヨーロッパアルプスからアペニン山脈それにカルパチア山脈に分布しています。岩場や砂礫地に生え、高さは５〜１０センチになります。カーペット状に広がります。卵形から楕円形の葉は灰緑色で、先端が尖り、腺毛が生えています。６月から８月ごろ、白色の花を咲かせます。

ナデシコ科ミミナグサ属の多年草で、学名は Cerastium latifolium。名はありません。

Cerastium latifolium belongs to Caryophyllaceae (the Carnation family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the Alps, the Apennines and the Carpathians. This herb grows in montane rocks and screes, spreads to carpet-like and can reach 5-10 cm in height. The leaves are ovate to elliptic and grayish-green with acute tips and glandular hairs. The white flowers come in June to August.
