ヨーロッパに分布しています。明るい草原に生え、高さは３０〜６０センチになります。葉はシダのような羽状複葉です。５月から７月ごろ、茎の先端に散形花序をつけ、ピンクから赤紫色の花を咲かせます。小さな花弁にはフリンジがあります。

セリ科カエロフィルム属の多年草で、学名は Chaerophyllum hirsutum var. roseum。英名は Pink cow parsley、Hairy chervil。

The Pink cow parsley (Chaerophyllum hirsutum var. roseum) belongs to Apiaceae (the Carrot family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in Europe. It grows in bright meadows and is 30-60 cm tall. It has fern-like pinnate compound leaves and produces pink to reddish purple flowers in umbels at the tips of its stems from May to July. The small petals have fringes.
