ケイリドプシス・カロリシュミッティ [Index] [Back] ナミビアから南アフリカ北部に分布しています。花崗岩や石英の岩礫地に生え、高さは５〜１０センチになります。葉は厚く、多肉質で銀緑色をしていて対生します。また３稜があり、はっきりした透明窓があります。冬の初めから春にかけて、鮮やかな黄色でデージーのような花を咲かせます。 ツルナ科ケイリドプシス属の常緑多年草で、学名は Cheiridopsis caroli-schmidtii。英名はありません。 Cheiridopsis caroli-schmidtii belongs to Aizoaceae (the Ice plant family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to Namibia and northern South Africa. This herb grows on granite, quartz rocks and screes, and can reach 5-10 cm in height. The leaves are thick, fleshy, silvery green and arranged in opposite. They are three-angled with conspicuous transparent dots.
