キリタ [Index] [Back] 中国や東南アジアを中心に１５０種ほどが分布しています。葉は緑色で大きく、葉脈に沿って銀白色の斑が入るものもあります。花茎を伸ばして花序をだし、薄紫色やピンク色、黄色、白色などの花を咲かせます。中国語では「唇柱苣苔（chun zhu ju tai shu）」と呼ばれます。 イワタバコ科キリタ属の一年草または多年草で、学名は Chirita sp.（属の総称）。英名はありません。 The Chirita genus belongs to Gesneriaceae (the African violet family). It is an annual or perennial herb that includes about 150 species and distributed mainly in China and Southeast Asia. The leaves are large, green and partly aranged with silvery-white patch outlining the veins. The clusters are borne on the flowring stalks and bloom lavender, pink, yellow or white flowers.
