熱帯アフリカが原産です。季節的に乾燥した熱帯バイオームに生え、高さは６０〜２１０センチになります。登り性の小低木または蔓植物です。葉は楕円形で対生します。一年を通して、枝先に半球状の花序をだし、芳香のある白色の筒状花を咲かせます。花筒部は長く、長い雄しべが突き出します。

クマツヅラ科クサギ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Clerodendrum bakeri (syn. Clerodendrum schweinfurthii)。英名はありません。

The Clerodendrum bakeri belongs to Verbenaceae (the Verbena family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to tropical Africa. It grows in seasonally dry tropical biomes and grows 60-210 cm tall. It is a climbing small shrub or vine. The leaves are elliptic and opposite. Throughout the year, it produces hemispherical inflorescences at the ends of its branches, which produce fragrant white tubular flowers. The flower tube is long, and the long stamens protrude.
