The Goldfish plant (Columnea euphora x lutea) belongs to Gesneriaceae (the African violet family). It is an evergreen shrub that is an interspecific hybrid between Columnea euphora, which is native to tropical America and has red flowers, and Columnea lutea (syn. Columnea microcalyx), which is native to southeastern Mexico, Central America, Columbia, and Venezuela and has orange-red flowers. It produces numerous two-tone, tubular, lip-shaped flowers in red and orange colors from winter to spring. No further information is available.
