コレオネマ・プルケルム [Index] [Back] 南アフリカのケープ州の固有種です。基部は１本の茎で、そこから多数の細い直立した枝が伸び、高さは８０〜１６０センチになります。葉は線形で長さ１センチほど、明るい緑色をしています。３月から１０月にかけて、ピンク色から白色の、星形をした５弁花を咲かせます。花はハチやチョウなどの昆虫を魅了します。果実は�刮ﾊです。  ミカン科コレオネマ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Coleonema pulchellum。英名は Confetti bush、Buchu。  The Confetti bush (Coleonema pulchellum) belongs to Rutaceae (the Citrus family). It is an evergreen shrub that is endemic to the Cape Province of South Africa. It has a single stem at the base, from which grow numerous thin, upright branches, 80-160 cm tall. The leaves are linear, about 1 cm long, and bright green. The 5-petaled, star-shaped, pink to white flowers bloom from March to October. The flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other insects.
