コノフィツム・フラテルヌム [Index] [Back] 南アフリカに分布しています。標高８００〜１２００メートルの岩礫地に生え、高さは５センチほどになります。茎は直立し、集まって小さな群落を形成します。葉は部分的に融合し、ほとんど球形で、多肉質の緑色です。冬にデージーのような白色の花を咲かせます。 ツルナ科コノフィツム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Conophytum fraternum。英名はありません。 Conophytum fraternum belongs to Aizoaceae (the Ice plant family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to South Africa. This herb grows on rocks and screes 800-1200 m elevation, and can reach about 5 cm in height. It has erect stem and forms compact group. The leaves are partially fused, almost spherical, green and fleshy.
