クルキアネラ・マリチマ [Index] [Back] 地中海地方の西部に分布しています。海岸の小さな岩が多い砂浜に生え、高さは１０〜４０センチになります。完全に砂地植物で、砂の小山の中央に生え、低くて粗い木質のコロニーを形成します。葉はへら形で全縁、輪生します。春から夏に、小さく黄色い漏斗状の花を咲かせます。  アカネ科クルキアネラ属の多年草で、学名は Crucianella maritima。英名はありません。  Crucianella maritima belongs to Rubiaceae (the Madder family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in the western Mediterranean region. This herb grows on little rocky sandy shores of the coast, and up a height of 10-40 cm. It is a strictly psammophyte, which grows the central part of the dunes, forming a low and open woody colonies. The leaves are spatula, entire and whorled.
