中国の中央部、湖北省から四川省に分布しています。標高１６５０〜２５００メートルにある森林や竹やぶなどの日陰に生え、高さは３０〜４５センチになります。４月から５月ごろ、花茎を伸ばして、黄緑色の花被片と淡いクリーム色の袋状の唇弁をもつ花を咲かせます。中国名は「大叶杓蘭（da ye shao lan）」。

ラン科アツモリソウ属の多年草で、学名は Cypripedium fasciolatum。英名はありません。

The Cypripedium fasciolatum belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in central China, from Hubei to Sichuan provinces. It grows in shady areas such as forests and bamboo groves at elevations of 1650 to 2500 m and is 30 to 45 cm tall. From April to May, it grows flower stalks and produces flowers with yellowish-green tepals and pale cream-colored pouch-like lip. The flowers bloom from April to May. Its Chinese name is "大叶杓蘭" (da ye shao lan).
