ゲンチアナ・ニウァリス [Index] [Back] ヨーロッパに分布しています。標高１６００〜３１００メートルの草地や湿地、荒れ地や岩場などに生え、高さは５〜１５センチになります。茎は直立し、分枝します。葉は卵形から楕円形状で対生します。花は、明るい濃青色で直径８ミリほど、６月から８月に咲きます。 リンドウ科リンドウ属の多年草で、学名は Gentiana nivalis。英名は Snow gentian。 The snow gentian (Gentiana nivalis) belongs to Gentianaceae (the Gentian family). It is a perennial herb that is native to Europe. This herb grows in meadows, marshes, heaths and stony places, 1600-3100 m elevation, and can reach 5-15 cm in height. The stems are erect and branched. The leaves are oval or elliptical and arranged in opposite. The flowers are bright, deep blue, about 8 mm across, and bloom from June to August.
