グロブラリア・サルコフィラ [Index] [Back] スペインのカナリア諸島にあるグラン・カナリア島の固有種です。標高１５００〜１６００メートルの玄武岩の崖に生え、地面を這うかほぼ直立します。葉は長さ２センチほどの倒卵形です。茎頂の長さ５〜６センチの花柄の上に、直径１．５センチほどの青色の花を咲かせます。写真は、園芸品種の「ブルーアイ（cv. Blue Eyes）」。 グロブラリア科グロブラリア属の常緑小低木で、学名は Globularia sarcophylla。英名はありません。 Globularia sarcophylla belongs to the family Globulariaceae. It is an evergreen shrub that is endemic to the island of Gran Canaria, the Canary Islands, Spain. This shrub grows trailing to suberect on basalt cliffs at 1,500-1,600 m elevation.
