グラパラリーフ (葉りんご)

メキシコ中東部が原産の「グラプトペタルム・パラグアイエンシス」（朧月）の中から、とくに美味しいものを選び、品種改良して食用にしたものが「グラパラリーフ」です。これは「アグリアシストジャパン」によって作出されたもので、「はりんご１７３０６号」という名前で、２００９年に品種登録されています。「グラパラリーフ」の味は「甘酸っぱいリンゴのよう」と形容されていて、「葉りんご」という名前でお店に並んでいることもあります。また微量栄養素としてカルシウムやマグネシウムが豊富に含まれています。 比較的育てやすく、葉ざしも容易にできるため、初心者にも育てやすい植物といえます。 |

The "Gra-para leaf" is a variety developed from the Graptopetalum paraguayense (Oboro-zuki), native to central-eastern Mexico, by selecting particularly delicious specimens and breeding them for edible use. It was developed by Agri Assist Japan and registered as a variety in 2009 under the name "Haringo No. 17306". The taste of "Gra-para leaf" is described as "like a sweet and sour apple", and it is sometimes sold in stores under the name "ha-ringo" (leaf apple). It is also rich in micronutrients such as calcium and magnesium. It is relatively easy to grow and propagate from leaf cuttings, making it a good plant for beginners. |
