オーストラリア、クイーンズランド州の中・東部が原産の「べにばなはごろものき（Grevillea banksii）」の園芸品種です。高さは２メートルほどになります。葉は銀色に輝く緑色で、春から枝先に大きな花序をつけ、絹のようなピンク色の花を咲かせます。

ヤマモガシ科ハゴロモノキ属の常緑低木で、学名は Grevillea cv. Caloundra Gem。英名はありません。

The Grevillea 'Caloundra Gem' belongs to the family Proteaceae. It is a small evergreen tree that is is a horticultural variety of the Grevillea banksii, which is native to central and eastern Queensland, Australia. It grows to about 2 m in height. It has silvery green leaves and produces large inflorescences of silky pink flowers at the ends of its branches in spring.
