オーストラリアのビクトリア州西部とサウス・オーストラリア州の南東部に分布しています。半乾燥の荒野や林に生え、直立して広がります。葉は銀灰色で、秋から春にかけて、茎いっぱいに魅力的な赤色の花を咲かせます。写真は、園芸品種の「レッドクラウド（cv. Red Cloud）」。

The lavender grevillea (Grevillea lavandulacea) belongs to the family Proteaceae. It is a small evergreen tree that is distributed in western Victoria and southeastern South Australia in Australia. This tree grows in semi-dry wilderness and forests and spreads upright. The leaves are silver-gray and the full of attractive red flowers bloom on the stems from fall to spring. The photos are the cultivar "Red Cloud".
