かぶくろちく (株黒竹) [Index] [Back] 中国原産の「はちく（淡竹）」の一品種です。桿の株元だけが黒くなるのが特徴です。「はちく」の開花後の再生竹から見つけられました。 イネ科マダケ属の単軸型タケ類で、学名は Phyllostachys nigra f. basinigra。英名はありません。 "Kabu-kuro-chiku" (Phyllostachys nigra f. basinigra) belongs to Poaceae (the Grass family). It is a form of "Henon bamboo" (Phyllostachys nigra var. henonis) which is native to China. It is defined by the black suefaces at the base of culms.
