カランコエ・ツビフローラ [Index] [Back] マダガスカル島の南部に分布しています。多肉植物で、茎は直立して高さは１メートル以上になります。葉は半円筒形で、上面は溝があり、赤褐色の斑紋と葉の先端近くに不定芽がつきます。冬にオレンジ色から赤色、赤紫色のベル形の花を咲かせます。花が咲いた後は枯れてしまいます。園芸上は、「きんちょう（錦蝶）」と呼ばれます。 ベンケイソウ科リュウキュウベンケイ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Kalanchoe tubiflora（syn. Bryophyllum tubiflorum）。英名は Chandelier plant。 The chandelier plant (Kalanchoe tubiflora) belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is an evergreen herb that is native to southern Madagascar. This is a succulent herb and the erect stems can reach up to 1 m in height. The leaves are subcylindrical, grooved on upper surface and with several reddish-brown spots and adventitious buds near apex. Orange, red to violet bell-shaped flowers come in winter. This plant dies after blooming.
