"Kamikochi-tennansho" (Arisaema ishizuchiense var. brevicollum) belongs to Araceae (the Arum family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed to Nagano and Gifu prefectures of Honshu in Japan. It grows in subalpine forests and is 10 to 20 cm tall. The leaves are divided into five bird-footed segments, and from May to July, the flowers, which are enclosed in dark purple spathe bracts, bloom at the end of the peduncle. The limb has a white stripe on the inside and the appendage is club-shaped.
