The Santa Rosa fern (Aglaomorpha coronans) belongs to the family Polypodiaceae. It is an evergreen fern that is distributed from the Okinawa Islands in Japan to Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and India. It grows in light forests in lowlands and attaches itself to tree trunks and rocks by its thick rhizomes. The leaves are leathery, more than 1 m long, pinnately lobed, and petiolate. The sorus is arranged in a row between the main lateral veins. It is called "崖薑蕨" in Taiwanese.
