きばなのじぎく (黄花野路菊)

わが国の本州、兵庫県以西の瀬戸内沿岸と四国の太平洋岸、九州の瀬戸内・太平洋岸に分布している「のじぎく（Chrysanthemum occidentali-japonense）」の黄花品種です。海岸沿いの傾斜地に生え、高さは６０〜９０センチになります。葉は広卵形で５中裂します。表面は緑色でわずかに毛が生え、裏面には伏毛が密生して灰白色になります。１０月から１２月ごろ、茎頂や葉腋に直径３０〜５５ミリの淡黄色の頭花を咲かせます。 |

キク科キク属の多年草で、学名は Chrysanthemum occidentali-japonense。英名はありません。 |

"Kibana-noji-giku" (Chrysanthemum occidentali-japonense) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is a yellow-flowered variety of "Noji-giku" (Chrysanthemum occidentali-japonense), which is distributed to along the Seto Inland Sea coast west of Hyogo Prefecture, the Pacific coast of Shikoku, and the Seto Inland Sea and Pacific coast of Kyushu in Japan. It grows on slopes along the coast and is 60 to 90 cm tall. The leaves are broadly ovate and split into five lobes. Pale yellow flower heads, 30 to 55 mm in diameter, bloom at the tops of stems and leaf axils from October to December. |
