ロシアのコーカサス地方が原産です。葉は「しだ」に似た羽状複葉で、高さは１．２メートルほどになります。６月から８月ごろ、茎の先に散房花序をつけ、小さな黄色い花を咲かせます。花壇や切り花、ドライフラワーに利用されます。 写真中５は、園芸品種の「コロネイションゴールド（cv. Coronation Gold）」。 |

キク科ノコギリソウ属の多年草で、学名は Achillea filipendulina。英名は Fern-leaf yarrow。 |

The Fern-leaf yarrow (Achillea filipendulina) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the Caucasus region of Russia. This herb can reach about 1.2 m in height and the fern-like leaves are pinnately compound. The corymbs are borne on the stem apices and produce small yellow flowers.
