インドやマレーシアに分布しています。熱帯雨林に生え、高さは２メートルほどになります。葉は「やどりぎ（宿り木）」に似た広い倒卵形で、光沢があります。一年中、小さな隠頭花序をつけ、黄色から橙赤色に熟します。食用にはなりません。 |

クワ科イチジク属の常緑小低木で、学名は Ficus diversifolia。英名は Mistletoe fig。 |

|
The mistletoe fig (Ficus diversifolia) belongs to Moraceae (the Mulberry family). It is an evergreen shrub that is distributed in India and Malaysia. This shrub grows in the rainforest and up to about 2 m in height. The leaves are wide obovate and shiny, similar to mistletoe. It has small hypanthodium and ripens from yellow to orange-red all year round. It is not edible. |
