こけいらん (小�尢�) [Index] [Back] わが国の各地をはじめ、台湾や朝鮮半島、中国、サハリン、カムチャッカ半島に分布しています。山地のやや湿った林内に生え、高さは３０〜４０センチになります。偽鱗茎は卵形で、披針形の葉を２個だします。５月から６月ごろ、花茎を伸ばして総状花序をつけ、黄褐色と白色の花をいっぱいに咲かせます。和名は、中国の「けいらん（�尢磨j」の仲間に似て、小さいことから。別名で「ささえびね（笹海老根）」とも呼ばれます。台湾華語では「細花山蘭」、中国語では「山蘭（shan lan）」と呼ばれます。 ラン科コケイラン属の多年草で、学名は Oreorchis patens。英名はありません。 The "Ko-keiran" (Oreorchis patens) belongs to Orchdaceae (the Orchid family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in Japan, as well as Taiwan, the Korean Peninsula, China, Sakhalin and the Kamchatska Peninsula. This herb grows in montane wettish forests and can reach 30-40 cm in height. The pseudo-bulbs are ovate and send out 2 lanceolate leaves. The racemes are borne on hte flowering stalks and the many yellowish-brown and white flowers bloom from May to June. In Taiwanese Chinese, it is called 細花山蘭", and "山蘭" (shan lan) in Chinese.
