こんしまだけ (紺縞竹) [Index] [Back] 中国原産の「まだけ（真竹）」の一品種です。桿は高さ４〜７メートル、直径４〜６センチになります。桿や葉に、やや濃い緑色の不規則な縦縞が見られます。「まだけ」と同様に、庭園用や工芸品に利用されます。 イネ科マダケ属の常緑タケ類で、学名は Phyllostachys bambusoides f. subvariegata。英名はありません。 The "Konshima-dake" (Phyllostachys bambusoides f. subvariegata) belongs to Poaceae (the Grass family). It is a form of "Giant timber bamboo" native to China. The culms are 4-7 m in height and 4-6 cm in diameter. The culms and leaves have irregular deep green longitudial stripes.
