こやぶたばこ (小藪煙草) [Index] [Back] わが国の各地をはじめ、朝鮮半島や中国、ロシアそれに東南アジアに分布しています。山野の林内や林縁に生え、高さは５０〜１００センチになります。葉はサジ状長楕円形で、不揃いの鋸歯があります。７月から９月ごろ、葉腋や枝先に緑白色の頭花を下向きに咲かせます。頭花の基部には葉状の苞葉と総苞片がつきます。 キク科ガンクビソウ属の二年草で、学名は Carpesium cernuum。英名はありません。 "Ko-yabutabako" (Carpesium cernuum) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed all over Japan, as well as the Korean Peninsula, China, Russia and Southeast Asia. This herb grows in forests and forest edges of hills and fields, and can reach 50-100 cm in height. The leaves are cochleariform-oblong with serrate edges. The greenish white flower-heads bloom discending at the axils and terminal branches from July to September. The flower-head has leafy bracts and involucal bracts at its base.
