The bird's nest cactus (Dolichothele camptotricha) belongs to Cactaceae (the Cactus family). It is an evergreen perennial herbacious plant that is distributed Queretaro in central Mexico. This cactus grows in arid areas and forms clump. It branches basally, stems are oblate, middle green, 5 cm high and 7 cm in diameter. Central spine is absent, radial spines are 2-8, white or yellow or brown. Flowers are 1.5 cm in diameter, white to pale whitish-yellow. Fruits are berries and ripen pale pink.
