くさふじ (草藤)

わが国の各地をはじめ、北半球の温帯地域に広く分布しています。日当たりのよい山地に生え、蔓状です。名前は、そのかたちが藤の花に似ているところから。葉は「からすのえんどう（烏野豌豆）」に似た羽状複葉で、先端は巻き髭になっています。よく似た「つるふじばかま」は小葉が少なくて幅が広く、赤みが強い花色です。５月から９月ごろ、上向きに総状花序をだし、紫色の花を咲かせます。台湾華語では「多花野碗豆」、中国語では「廣布野豌豆（guang bu ye wan dou）」と呼ばれます。 |

The Tufted vetch (Vicia cracca) belongs to Fabaceae (the Pea family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed throughoutr Japan, and temperate areas of the Northern Hemisphere. This herb grows in sunny mountains and can reach 40-200 cm long. The leaves are pari-pinnate compound with 12-24 narrow oblong leaflets and tendrils. The racemes are borne upward and the purple papilionaceous flowers bloom from May to September. In Taiwanese Chinese. it is called "多花野碗豆", and "廣布野豌豆" (guang bu ye wan dou) in Chinese. |
