わが国の本州、宮城県以南から四国・九州それに台湾や中国に分布しています。樹木や岩肌などに根茎を這わせて着生します。栄養葉は円形から楕円形で、やや肉厚で互生します。胞子葉は線形からへら形で立ち上がります。胞子嚢は中肋の両側につきます。台湾華語では「伏石蕨」と呼ばれます。 |

ウラボシ科マメヅタ属の常緑シダ類で、学名は Lemmaphyllum microphyllum。英名は Green penny fern。 |

The Green penny fern (Lemmaphyllum microphyllum) belongs to the family Polypodiaceae. It is an evergreen fern that is distributed southward from Miyagi prefecture of Honshu to Shikoku and Kyushu in Japan, as well as Taiwan and China. This fern is an epiphyte and creeping on the trees or rocks by rhizomes. The sterile fronds are round to elliptic, thick and alternate. The fertile fronds are linear to spatulate and standing up. This fern formes linear sori on either side of rachis. In Taiwanese Chinese, it is called "伏石蕨". |
