メキシコ中部のイダルゴ州、グアナフアト・ケレタロ州に分布しています。直径１０センチ、高さは６０センチほどの円柱状になります。小さな濃いピンク色の花を咲かせます。 |

サボテン科マミラリア属の疣サボテンで、学名は Mammillaria polythele。英名は Nipple cactus。 |

The nipple cactus (Mammillaria polythele) belongs to Cactaceae (the Cactus family). It is a perennial cactus that is distrubuted Hidalgo and Guanajuato-Queretato state in central Mexico. This cactus can reach 60 cm in height, 10 cm in diameter. Small deep pink flowers bloom. |
