マキシラリア・マルギナタ [Index] [Back] ブラジルの東・南部およびエクアドルに分布しています。標高２５００〜３２００メートルにある熱帯バイオームに生え、樹木などに着生して、高さは３０〜６０センチになります。根茎は長くてよく分枝し、扁平な偽球茎をだします。夏から秋にかけて、新芽の偽球茎から１〜２個の紐状の葉と単花序をだし、クリーム色の花を咲かせます。 ラン科マキシラリア属の常緑多年草で、学名は Maxillaria marginata。英名はありません。 The Maxillaria marginata belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed in eastern and southern Brazil and Ecuador. It grows in tropical biomes at an altitude of 2500 to 3200 m, epiphytic on trees, reaching a height of 30 to 60 cm. The rhizome is long and well branched, producing flat pseudobulbs.
