ヒマラヤ周辺のミャンマーや中国の四川省、雲南省、チベットに分布しています。標高２７００〜５１００メートル、高山の低木地帯や草地に生え、高さは３０〜５０センチになります。根生葉は倒披針形から線形で、長い葉柄があり、毛が密に生えています。４月から６月ごろ、鮮やかな黄色の花を咲かせます。チベットでは薬草にされるそうです。 |

Meconopsis integrifolia belongs to Papaveraceae (the Poppy family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in Myanmar around the Himalayas, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Tibet in China. This herb grows in alpine shrublands and grasslands at an altitude of 2700-5100 m and can reach 30-50 cm in height. The basal leaves are lanceolate to linear, with long petioles and dense hair. The bright yellow flowers come in April to June. It is said that it is used as a medicinal herb in Tibet. |
