わが国の本州、中部地方以北から北海道、それにアジア東北部に分布しています。亜高山帯から高山帯の礫地に生え、高さは５〜１５センチになります。低山に生える「あずまぎく（東菊）」の亜種ですが、毛が少ないのが特徴です。根生葉はへら形でロゼット状につきます。７月から８月ごろ、淡い紅紫色の頭花を咲かせます。 |

キク科ムカシヨモギ属の多年草で、学名は Erigeron thunbergii spp. glabratus。英名はありません。 |

The "Miyama-azuma-giku" (Erigeron thunbergii spp. glabratus) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is native from Chubu district of Honshu to Hokkaido and north-eastern Asia. This herb grows in sub-alpine to alpine screes and can reach 5-15 cm in height. It is a sub-species of "Azuma-giku" (Erigeron thunbergii). The basal leaves are spatulate and arranged in rosette. The pale magenta flower-heads bloom in July and August. |
