"Mitsubano-baika-ohren" (Copris trifoliolata) belongs to Ranunculaceae (the Buttercup family). It is an evergreen herb that is distributed in the Honshu in Japan, on the Japan Sea side from the Chubu region to the Tohoku region. This herb grows from the subalpine to alpine forests, forest edges, bamboo grass fields, etc., and its height is 7 to 15 cm. The basal leaves are trifoliates with long petioles. The white flowers come on the flower stalks from May to August. The calyxes are petal-like. The flower stalks are characterized by purple-brown.
