みやまきんばい (深山金梅)

わが国の本州、中部地方以北から北海道、千島、サハリンに分布しています。高山帯の砂礫地や草地に生え、高さは１０〜２０センチになります。葉は３出複葉で、倒卵形の小葉には大きな鋸歯があります。７月から８月ごろ、茎の先端に濃い黄色の５弁花を咲かせます。雄しべは２０個ほどあります。 |

バラ科キジムシロ属の多年草で、学名は Potentilla matsumurae。英名はありません。 |

"Miyama-kimbai" (Potentilla matsumurae) belongs to Rosaceae (the Rose family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed northward from Chubu district of Honshu to Hokkaido of Japan, as well as the Kuril Islands and Sakhalin. This herb grows in alpine grasslands and screes, and can reach 10-20 cm in height. The leaves are trifoliate with obovate serrate leaflets. The deep yellow 5-petaled flowers come on the stalks from July to August. They have about 20 stamens. |
