わが国の固有種で、中部地方以北から北海道に分布しています。高山帯の湿り気の多い草地に生えて、高さは３０〜８０センチほどになり、しばしば群落を形成します。根生葉は大きく３裂、茎葉は細くて小く３〜５裂します。７月から８月ごろ、茎の先で分枝して、鮮やかな黄色い５弁花を咲かせます。 |

キンポウゲ科キンポウゲ属の多年草で、学名は Ranunculus acris var. nipponicus。英名はありません。 |

The "Miyama-kimpouge" (Ranunculus acris var. nipponicus) belongs to Ranunculaceae (the Buttercup family). It is a perennial herb that is an endemic species of Japan and disrtibuted northward from Chubu district of Honshu to Kyushu. This herb grows in alpine wet grasslands and can reach 30-80 cm in height. They are often clumping. The basal leaves are large and 3 partite, the cauline leaves are small, narrow and 3-5 partite. The bright yellow flowers come on the branched stems from July to August. |
