The Round-leaved mint bush (Prostanthera rotundifolia) belongs to Lamiaceae (the Mint family). It is a small evergreen tree that is distributed in the southeastern part of Australia, in New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania. It grows in hardwood forests, rainforest margins, and rocky gravel areas, and is 1 to 3 m tall. The leaves are broadly ovate to obovate or almost circular with entire or irregularly wavy serrations at the margins. The leaves have a fresh, minty fragrance. The small light purple to purple flowers bloom in the leaf axils from September to November.
