コロンビアからエクアドル、ペルーにかけて分布しています。「アンスリウム」の仲間で、気根を伸ばして樹木などに着生します。葉は７〜９個の掌状複葉、裂片もさらに基部で分裂します。薄緑色の仏炎苞のある肉穂花序に目立たない花を咲かせます。

サトイモ科ベニウチワ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Anthurium polyschistum。英名は Copper vine。

The copper vine (Anthurium polyschistum) belongs to Araceae (the Arum family). It is an evergreen perennial vine that is distributed in Colombia to Ecuador, Peru. This vine is hemi-epiphyte with aerial roots on the trees. Leaves are 7-9 lobed compound, and divided into more segments at the base of leaflets. Flowers are inconspicuous, and bloom in the spadix with pale greenish spathe.
