むさしのきすげ (武蔵野黄菅) [Index] [Back] わが国の東京都、府中市にある浅間山（せんげんやま）だけに分布しています。「にっこうきすげ（日光黄菅）」の一品種で、丘陵の落葉広葉樹林や草地に生え、高さは６０〜８０センチになります。５月ごろ、花茎をのばして淡橙黄色の花を咲かせます。花は朝に開き、翌日には閉じてしまう一日花です。地上部は、８月ごろに枯死し、休眠します。 ユリ科ワスレグサ属の多年草で、学名は Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta f. musashiensis。英名はありません。 "Musashino-kisuge" (Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta f. musashiensis) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is native to Mt. Sengen in Fuchu City of Tokyo, Japan. This herb is a form of "Nikko-kisuge" (Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta), grows in hill deciduous broad-leaved forests and grasslands, and can reach 60-80 cm in height. The pale orange-yellow flowers bloom on the stem apices in May. The flowers last one day, open at morning and fade at next day.
